A sting operation led by the police together with the mounted unit and K9 unit resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old Nigerian man on Wednesday, October 21st. According to Capt. Ntobeng Phalal, the police followed up a tip-off and raided a house in Jorissen Street where they arrested the man and confiscated several stolen items and drugs.
"The items confiscated during the operation include: rock and CAT to the estimated value of R18 000, few dagga plants, cash, 8 cell phones, printers and a laptop," Provincial police spokesperson Col Ronel Otto said.
