Oh dear! Boko Haram has done it again. A security source in Kano has just tipped SR of an explosion in the big market situated in Kano town. According to the security source, the blast is reported at a market popularly known as Kwari Market, but the actual nature of casualties is yet to be ascertained.

Confirming the sad incident, the security source said, “Our men are on their way to the scene.”

A source from the area in Kano told friyogist.blogspot.com that confusion has enveloped the vicinity and other towns within the larger Kano metropolis. People are running for their dear lives, while others are risking their lives to access the scene of the multiple explosions to search for their relations.

Security agents have been mobilized to the market as well as emergency personnel to help victims.

This unfortunate incident is coming barely two weeks after Boko Haram bombers killed over 100 persons and injured about 150 at Kano Central Mosque located in Emir’s Palace in the ancient town.

Boko Haram, why not allow peace to reign in Nigeria?
