We didn't know you were friends! Selena Gomez flashes toned midriff for lunch date with dressed down pal Kendall Jenner

Her sister Kylie was spotted hanging out with new BFF Hailey Baldwin earlier in the week.

And now it seems Kendall Jenner has found her very own famous best friend in the form of Selena Gomez. 

The pair ware spotted leaving a popular LA eatery together on Friday sporting very different styles.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Kendall dressed down in a double denim look.

Accentuating her gazelle-like legs in blue jeans, the model and reality star paired them with a pale shirt and white heels.

Both divas shielded their eyes behind over-sized sunglasses, but while Selena sported immaculately coiffured hair, Kendall's looked as if it could use a brushing.

Leaving well-known lunch spot Joan's On Third via the backdoor, the new friends shared a slightly awkward hug before making their way to separate cars.

It seems that Kendall's star is in the ascendent after making her debut on the catwalks of London, Paris and New York this season.

Walking for Marc Jacobs, Chanel and Givenchy among others, Kendall proved herself a celebrity in her own right.

So successful was she that people close to her are said to have advised her to distance herself from her family's reality TV show. 

If she's serious about furthering her career as a fashion model, she has been warned to forget about Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
