The Labour Party campaign train birthed at Oye and Ikole Ekiti Local government areas where the the reception was grandiose and the crowd tumultuous.
The campaign train, which started last week at Ido/Osi local government area saw lovers of the Labour Party come to witness the delivery of the popular Change Speech by Bamidele, a one time ally of Governor Kayode Fayemi.
At Oye and Ikole-Ekiti, MOB, as he is fondly called, promised Ekiti people that mechanized farming will be a focal point of hs administration.
Bamidele said the initiative will empower farmers to tap into larger markets and in turn increase their income.

While he took a swipe at the Fayemi administration for failing to conduct local government elections, he pledged to conduct such “within the first six months of his assumption of office as Governor so that genuine development can get to the grassroots.”
On the need for the people of Ekiti to eschew violence, Bamidele said it was imperative as “we march on with the gubernatorial campaigns because I do not encourage violence and blood letting. in his words, Ekiti people are one and in togetherness and unity, we shall move the state forward and restore her lost glory.”
