Manchester United Owner, Malcolm Glazer, Has Passed On

This is a very sad day for football lovers! The owner of Manchester United football club, Malcolm Glazer, has passed on. He died yesterday, May 28, just three days after his 86th birthday. The late Malcolm has reportedly been in failing health since 2006 when a pair of strokes left him with impaired speech and limited mobility in his right arm and leg.


             

The late Malcolm who bought Manchester United Football club in 2005, also owned NFL team Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Malcolm who was worth $4billion, was also the president and chief executive officer of First Allied Corporation, a holding company for his varied business interests. He is survived by a wife, 6 children and 14 grandchildren.
