Three Nigeria players tried to make themselves good looking for Saturday’s game in Cuiaba at a local unisex salon
Nigeria players Emmanuel Emenike, Kenneth Omeruo and Ahmed Musa hit the barber shop on Friday ahead of their game with Bosnia-Herzegovina.
They got their hair cut at a shop inside a filling station opposite the Hits Pantanal Hotel where they paid 20 reais each (1445 Naira).
The trio was photographed by journalist Amanda Kestelman who writes for local paper Globo.
“They were really nice,” Kestelman told Goal. “I asked if I could take their pictures and they said no problem.”
The owner of the salon, Dirce Cardoso, closed the doors in order to give them some VIP treatment.
They were offered water and made to feel at home while they got their tresses trimmed.
While Emenike, who was the most serious looking, got a simple haircut and left early, Omeruo had his Mohawk adjusted while Musa had his hair dyed black.
The trio is expected to start against Bosnia in Saturday’s crunch tie at the Arena Pantanal.
